A pair of Continental patinated bronze models of the Medici Vase

A pair of Continental patinated bronze models of the Medici Vase, after the Antique, 19th century, French or Italian, each of Campana form with egg-and-dart cast everted rim, the bodies with figural scenes in relief and each with twin reeded handles, the knopped and fluted socles on square section bases, each 31.5cm high, 23cm diameterCondition Report: The vases bear the usual minor marks, knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age.They have a matte-ish dark brown patina. The liners are a little bent in places, and there are some irregularities to the casting including areas of sharpness to the rims.There is some radial movement between the bodies of the urns and their bases. As a result there are some circular marks to the tops of the bases, and there is some minor scratching/denting here. There is some loss of definition and residue where one of the handles meets the body, either due to manufacture or possibly a repair.Overall, the urns are in perfectly presentable condition.
