A pair of Edwardian silver sauce boats, the gently scalloped rim above a plain oval bellied body, with acanthus leaf scroll handle, and raised upon three hoof feet. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1908 and 1909. Each length 7.5" (19cm), total weight 14ozt (436.8 grams).
Condition Report:
- In good condition, displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
- Some greater areas of tarnishing, particular at joins between feet and belly, that would benefit from a clean and polish.
- Small gap between foot and belly on one sauce boat, with soldering missing.
- Hallmarks and maker's marks clear and legible.
