A pair of Egyptian faience ushabtis
A pair of Egyptian faience ushabtis, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, both from the same tomb, each depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig with false beard, arms folded at chest and holding a pick and hoe; vertical plinth down back. H: 4 in (10.2 cm) and 4 1/8 in (10.5 cm). Both nicely detailed with remnants of pale blue glaze and surface deposits. Ex Nomis Antiquities.
