This attractive pair of early Georgian style pier mirrors were probably acquired by the Marquess following extensive repairs and restoration at Beaudesert following a fire in 1909. The Marquess acquired fine furniture and fittings from the very best makers, such as Lenygon & Co. in London (also see lots 22 and 32).
