A pair of George IV silver mounted coasters, each with oblique gadroon rim above plain ogee sides, and a turned wood base inset with a circular disc. Hallmarked Adey Bellamy Savory, London 1827. Rim diameter 5.25" (13.5cm).
Condition Report:
- Both displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.
- Both with some minor surface dints and bumps.
- Both with visible seam lines with possible small repairs.
- Residues of previous polish, especially in the gadroon decoration.
- Wood bases a little faded and displaying a couple of cracks.
- Silver mounts lifting very slightly in places but both are still securely in place.
- Discs not hallmarked
- Green baize to the underside is also a little faded and fraying around edges.
- Hallmarks located below rim, these with fairly heavy rubbing in places but all still legible.
