There are some chips to encrusted flowers and leaves to the bodies on both. There is a chip to one of the grapes being held by the male putto and minor chips to contents of container by other putto with yellow shawl and there are losses of encrusted flowers to the left of its head. There is a vertical crack to the right of the central cartouche (on the blue ground below of the basketwork) on the bracket with the putto holding the grapes. The encrusted flowers to the ebonised wall mounts on both are later resin and enamel additions. There are chips and scratches to ebonised wood. The ebonised wall mounts are later than the porcelain basketwork bodies.
