A pair of Louis XVI style carved giltwood pelmets, 19th century, with pierced swag decoration, 38cm high, 186cm wide, 19cm deep

Condition Report:
Please note, the curtains are included with this lot and have a drop of approximately 240cm. Both pelmets with marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Various old glued repairs and joints between some elements opening (see images). Old splits and chips. Rubbing and some losses to gilding. Fabric with 'pulls' and some fraying. Some sections are quite dusty and could benefit from cleaning. Both pelmets with the end sections of the cross rails detached, only two of these pieces are present (see images).
