A pair of Near Eastern bronze blades
A pair of Near Eastern bronze blades, c. 1200 - 600 BC, the first a dagger blade with short tang and extensive re-sharpened edges from a lifetime of use, L: 9 1/2 in (24.1 cm), the second a well-preserved spear point with heavy midrib, squared shoulders and very narrow point. L: 6 3/8 in (16.2 cm). Both with nice mottled green patina. Ex Spangenberg collection, TX.
