A pair of Roman bronze fibulae, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, the first a Kraftig profilierte type with original pin and huge coil, 3 1/8 x 2 1/8 in (8.3 x 5.4 cm), the second with wide arched body adorned with incised decoration, the original boil and pin well-preserved, L: 2 7/8 in (7.3 cm). Both nicely patinated. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
