A pair of Roman bronze implements
A pair of Roman bronze implements. The first is a nice Roman bronze spoon, c. 1st - 3rd Century, with hemispherical bowl and straight handle, L: 5 in (12.7 cm), the second is a lovely bronze handle for a tool or medical instrument, the end in the form of a swan's head, two groups of ridges further down the handle, remains of an iron implement at end. L: 4 3/4 in (12.1 cm). Both are extremely well-preserved. Ex Malter Galleries, CA.
