A pair of Roman bronze objects, c. 1st - 5th Century AD, one a nicely formed goose-headed terminal for a handled implement. The other rather a mystery as to its function and what it was part of originally but appearing to have an animal headed terminal as well. Largest 4 1/2 in (11.4 cm). Ex collection of Frederick Allan Downes acquired in the early 1900's, thence by descent.
