A pair of Romano-Egyptian decorative bone elements
A pair of Romano-Egyptian decorative bone elements, c. 4th - 5th Century AD, the first with a laureate male head in relief, 2 5/8 x 1 1/2 in (6.7 x 3.8 cm), the second is a handle for a mirror or similar with horizontal ribbing bordered above and below by grooves, L: 2 3/4 in (7 cm). Both nice examples with light deposits. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
