A pair of Russian malachite veneered and ormolu mounted small tazze, mid-19th century, the dished circular tops with sections of malachite and raised on baluster stems and spreading circular fluted socles, 9cm high; an agate, malachite inset and silvered metal mounted folio, last quarter 19th century, with cruciform central design, 25 x 19cm; a Continental malachite veneered and slate lined envelope box, later 19th century, of domed rectangular form, the interior with removable dividers, 13 x 21 x 12cm; and a malachite, gilt and silver plated letter openerProperty from the estate of the late Betty, Lady GrantchesterCondition Report: The malachite tazzas have chips and losses to the veneers around the edges.The box has some losses and restorations to the interior, as well as some chips to the corners of the exterior.The silver plating on the letter opener is quite tarnished.The folio's leather back and spine and fabric interior are a little worn.Overall, aside from the issues addressed above and the usual minor marks, knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use, the items are in presentable condition.Condition Report Disclaimer
