A pair of William IV Irish silver coasters of twin-handled barrel form.

A pair of William IV Irish silver coasters, each of circular barrel form with twin handles and raised reeded border detail enclosing engraved crests to one side, depicting a lion and a forearm holding aloft a dagger. Hallmarked Dublin 1830 with marks for Edward Power and Edward Twycross. Rim diameter 5.25" (13.5cm), weight 27 ozt (840 grams).

Condition Report:
- Both appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing consistent with the age and use.
- Some deeper scratches, nicks and contact marks to some areas, particularly visible to interiors. One interior with some residues and spots of tarnishing to the inner rim.
- Seam or construction lines visible at the handle joins, when viewed from interior.
- Surface rubbing with some slight loss of detail to engraved crests.
- Hallmarks located to the underside, these clear and legible with minor wear.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
