A pair of ancient ceramic vessels

A pair of ancient ceramic vessels. The first is a Cypriot footed tankard, c. 1575 - 1400 BC, with strap handle and spiked thumb rest. The body is carinated and adorned with four horizontal grooves. H: 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm). The second is a Neolithic Chinese vessel, c. 3000 - 1000 BC, the rounded body with lug handles and long neck surmounted by and uneven rim. 5 1/8 x 5 1/4 in (13 x 13.3 cm). Both intact with strong mineral encrustation. Ex John Schaeffer estate, FL.
