A pair of early Victorian gold repoussé rococo-style drop earrings,
set with blue and red paste, c.1840. A scrolling styled form top with an opaque blue paste and suspended below a gauntlet holding an open scrolling plaque with clamshell to the bottom. A rectangular tablet to the centre, with cabochon red and blue paste in cut down collets, later hook fittings. Marks indistinct possibly B*S18. Tested as approximately 18ct gold, wires as approximately 9ct gold. 65 x 24mm, 4.32g (2)
