each dish painted with a scene from the Gengzhi tu (album of tilling and weaving), one dish depicting a figure ploughing a rice field with a buffalo while a group of women are selecting silk worms in an interior, the second dish showing a group of men planting out rice seedlings while women are tending to silk worms, accompanied by two inscriptions, the exterior painted with bats in flight depicted in iron red, the base with a six-character seal mark in iron red

One dish with a fine hairline and a restored area to the exterior rim, and a ca. 0.5 cm wide shallow chip just below the exterior rim. The second dish with some minute nicks to foot rim. Both dishes with very light overall wear to the enamels and gilding.
