A pair of gilt silver and coral paisley shaped shokila ornaments - Uzbekistan, Khorezm - 1880-1900

Each piece is made in a paisley design and set with many turquoise and other (some faceted) stones. raised elements decorated in filigree. The bottom of the piece is decorated with corals and punched barley ornaments (some set with turquoise).

Some stones are missing. dents to the silver. signs of repair.
