Of typical form, each inlaid on the front with an identical design depicting a pair of cranes in flight among wisps of cloud in flat silver relief, the underside with a diamond pattern, the interior red-lacquered; each stirrup signed on the uprights in silver flat relief inlay Kashu no ju Nobukuni saku (Made by Nobukuni of Kaga Province). 23cm x 27.5cm (9in x 10¾in).
