A pair of jade and diamond earrings. Each designed as a jadeite drop with black enamel cap, suspended from a black enamel cylindrical bar with old-cut diamond spacer and surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 4.2gms. Weight 4.1gms. Jade untested.

Condition Report

Overall condition good with some surface scratches. Jade caps probably re-enamelled, with an uneven finish. Enamel deficient in areas, with chip to surface. Evidence of repair work and alterations. Comprised of some antique component parts. Diamonds fairly well matched and fairly bright.

Diamonds have small light, dark inclusions and chips on the girdles. Jade untested for natural colour origin. Jade is a slightly mottled medium green hue, translucent with darker and lighter patches. Jade in good condition.
