A pair of long wheellock pistols (3rd model) of the

Two-stage barrels, octagonal then round, with smooth bores in 13 mm calibre. The upper sides of the barrels with punched décor and gunsmith’s monogram "HS", one barrel with blossom mark struck in front of it. Locks with domed wheel housings, the bases of the springs slightly cut. Spring-loaded pan covers with release buttons. Walnut full stocks with slightly different inlays of engraved and blackened bone. Pointed, onion-shaped pommels. Original, wooden ramrods with engraved bone tips and threaded iron sleeves. Length of each 78 cm.
Unlike the 1st and 2nd model of the wheellock pistols used by the Dresden traband guard, the 3rd model pistols can rarely be found on the market.
Hans Stockmann, recorded as gunsmith in Dresden circa 1590 until 1639, was known to have manufactured many weapons for the elector's trabant guard. The Dresden collection still owns more than 100 wheellock pistols made by him.
