A pair of mahogany and brass studded green leather upholstered armchairs, in George III style, 19th century, each rectangular back with shaped top, above a tapering rectangular seat flanked by a pair of padded arms with shaped and foliate carved terminals, on square section legs and stretchers

Condition Report:
Marks ,scratches and abrasions comensurate with age and use. Minor old chips and splits comensurate with age. Some fading in areas to to the timber. The leather to both chairs is generally even throughout. The leather is clean and tidy overall with minimal minor abrasions. One chair seat has a very small black spot to the centre of it (likely ink) Some relatively minor 'wrinkling' to the leather of the seat from use. (see additional images). Both chairs are of solid structure. Height from the floor to the highest point of the back = 100cm Height from floor to top of seat = 43cm Overall depth of each seat 50cm Overall width of each seat (between interior edges of arms at mid point of arms) = 55cm Please refer tot he additional images for visual reference to condition.
