Qing dynasty, the jardinières, 18th/19th century, the orchids, 19th/20th century
The flowers variously carved of rose quartz, carnelian agate and pale green jade, with long, spinach-green jade leaves, the jardinières each standing on three small bracket feet, the sides cast with two bands of fine scrolling lotus and set with a pair of lion mask-and-loose ring handles beneath the rims, each around 114.5cm high (2).
