A pair of rare cups and saucers with late Hoeroldt Chinoiseries
The cups decorated throughout with finely painted Chinoiserie scenes above a double line in iron red. The saucer with Chinoiseries within two concentric iron red rings beneath insects and birds. The rim and underside with scattered flowers. Blue crossed swords mark, star dreher's mark of Paul Wildenstein (saucer), gilt mark 62. Some wear to the gilding. H cups 6.3, D saucer 12.1 cm.
