The earrings each designed as a seed pearl drop suspended from a similarly-set disc surmount, the brooch designed as a garnet and green beryl oval with seed pearl partial surround. Length of earrings 9.2cms. Length of brooch 4.4cms. Purchasing information Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Wear to gilt metal finish. Both pieces with deficient seed pearls and some loose in their settings. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Garnet and green beryl are replacement gems, wear and gaps to mounts. Garnet is significantly chipped. One beryl is cracked in two, the other has a shallow chip. Brooch appears adapted. Section of mother-of-pearl backing deficient. Glue is visible. Earrings with replacement chain suspending the drops, differing in colour. Earrings with screw back fittings for non-pierced ears.
