A pair of small Egyptian faience scarabs

A pair of small Egyptian faience scarabs, 3rd Intermediate - Late Period, c. 1075 - 332 BC. The first is a small steatite scarab with a Horus falcon on the base, (10.5 x 7 mm), the second a Pseudo-scarab carved in steatite with stylized signs on the base, likely from the Near East. (12 x 8 mm). Both intact, the first appears to have been re-glazed. Ex collection of Lawrence Buchanan and Dr. Enrique von Kiguel formed throughout the 1970's-80's.
