well carved in the round as a pair of mandarin ducks facing each other in a lotus pond, all beneath a large curled lotus leaf and on a bed of cresting waves, the stone of pale celadon tone, carved and pierced hongmu stand

Condition Report:
There are a few small chips to the edges and raised parts of the carving, as well as a small bruise (ca. 0.7 x 0.4 cm) to the tip of a leaf on the side.
