Assembled in five parts. Decorated with a frieze of six large figures of maenads. Mounted in galvanised gilt bronze and brass. Engraved double-L mark with P and "Le Tourneur". H 105.5, D 39 cm.
Around 1900, modelled by Pierre Jacques Letourneur (active 1756 - 1762).

Formerly in the collection of Professor Dr Carl Fraenkel (1861 - 1915).
