A portal clock, ebonized wood, 2nd half 19th century, ebonized, solid, twisted wooden columns, with gilded bases and capitals, with maple inlays in the base and recurring in the head, wide gilded bezel with floral motifs, white enamel dial, slightly hairline cracked with black Roman numerals and blued Breguet hands, rust-finished pendulum, French round movement with ''Duru a la moulin'' pattern on the back. Round movement marked ''Duru a Paris'', solid anchor escapement, 1/2 hour disk striking mechanism on bell, 44x22x13cm HBT
