A rare Egyptian bronze depiction of Harpokrates, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, seated and wearing Hem Hem crown with uraeus and side-lock of youth, right finger pressed to his lips, left hand resting on his knee. H: 2 5/16 in (5.8 cm). Nicely detailed with brown surfaces and mounted on an old square wood base. Ex collection of Dr. Blair Rogers, acquired from Charles Ede Ltd, London, in 1986, and accompanied by COA from Charles Ede.
