A rare Meissen porcelain tea bowl and saucer with tomato red ground
Decorated with water landscapes in quatrefoil reserves, the well of the cup with a depiction of a moored ship, the saucer with a merchant navy scene in a gilt cartouche. Blue crossed swords mark, dreher's numer 2 in the basal ring of the saucer, 50 in gold. The tea bowl with two small restored rim chips. H tea bowl 4.5, D 7.9, D saucer 13 cm.
Circa 1740, decor attributed to Johann George Heintze.
