A rare, Original Closed Burgonet Helmet, Germany, late 16th early 17th century. This handsome example was originally blued or blackened. The two-piece forged skull with low comb. The barred visor and the single collar at the front and back, pivot hook on the right side. A wonderful medieval helmet to collect. Height 30 cm.
