A rare South Indian bronze temple sword, Kerala, 15th - 17th centuryLaterally ridged bronze blade with midrib and angled end, the back with two points of different length and 16 robust eyelets. Blade trim riveted and cast in relief with hollow, cylindrical bronze grip. The top of the bowl-shaped pommel decorated with eyelets. Length 84 cm.Condition: II
