A rare Viking bronze comb, Northern Europe, 8th - 9th Century AD, with incised geometric designs and dragon head termini. L: 2 in (5 cm.) Nicely patinated with custom stand. Ex German collection, acquired in the 1970s; Ex Royal Athena Galleries, New York.
