A rare case for cavalry helmets

The exterior is made of reddish-brown Moroccan-style leather, complete with remains of the fastening laces and a label. Some of the parts are damaged, particularly on the bottom. The interior features a papier-mâché-style lining with some repairs, signs of use and time. A rare and difficult-to-find example.
