of oval shape, the flat cover carved with scholars in a garden setting, the sides of both box and cover finely carved with depictions of one hundred boys at play, the stone of yellowish-green tone

Condition Report:
There is a circa 6 x 1.5 cm., wide crescent-shaped part of the rim of the cover broken out and reattached of old, two filled in holes where there were rivets. Small frits to the rims of box and cover.
