The two-part teapot carved in honey-coloured, opaque amber. The curved body decorated with raised, chiselled flowering branches on the side panels, the spout in the shape of a bamboo stick, the handle carved in imitation wood structure. The removable lid with a knob in the shape of a flowering twig. The edge of the spout slightly knocked. Height 7 cm, weight 109 g.A rare Kunstkammer object made of Königsberg amber, which was enormously popular in the baroque courts of Europe at that time.Condition: II -
