A rare pair of incised yellow-glazed saucer dishes,
Marks and period of Yongzheng

清雍正 黃釉劃纏枝花卉紋盤一對 《大清雍正年製》款

each with shallow and gently curved sides rising from a short foot, finely incised around the exterior with a composite floral scroll, covered overall in an even yellow glaze, the base left white and inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double circle

Condition Report:
Both dishes are in very good condition, except for a very faint glaze crackle (approx. 0.6cm) to the outer rim of one dish (left dish in the main image, approx. one o'clock position to the mark).

整體品相良好。僅於一盤外口沿見一短淺片紋(約0.6公分,於主圖左盤,款識一點鐘方向)。

A similar example is illustrated in Michel Beurdeley and Guy Raindre, Qing Porcelain, London, 1987, pl. 1. See also a pair of smaller dishes, formerly in the collections of the Sir Joseph E. Hotung Family Trust, included in the exhibitions Qing Mark and Period Monochrome and Two-Coloured Wares, S. Marchant & Son, London, 1992, cat. no. 17; and another dish from the collections of Mr and Mrs Jack Steinberg and Marchant, sold in these rooms, 10th July 2020, lot 3014.
