A rare polychrome Liverpool delftware wall pocket, c.1750, of cornucopia form, the upper section moulded with a mask between flower sprays, decorated in the Fazackerly palette, a section of the back rim restuck, 19.5cm.

Cf. John C. Austin, British Delft at Williamsburg, p.261 for a similar pair with a central flower instead of the mask. The mask is an unusual addition to this model, as is the polychrome decoration.
