This piece is a dressmaker copy of a design from Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel's Autumn-Winter 1987-88 collection. The authentic and original Chanel couture dress is photographed in the September 1987 issue of L'Officiel, and also the October 1987 issue of Britsh Vogue, modeled by Naomi Campbell, where it is described as a 'Fabergé Egg of a dress'.
