A right-hand chest of drawers with a curved front made of violet wood veneer, featuring four rows of five walnut-framed drawers, two of which are in the first row. The top features extensive decoration of rosettes and diamond points. The front panel is divided into four central and eight lateral panels. The sides are inlaid with diamond patterns on a background of straight-grained wood. The straight side panels—the front ones rounded—rest on small feet. Gilded bronze hardware: molded lock case, drop handles with dolphin motifs, lock plates, and applied shell-shaped shoe. Paris. Louis XIV period
