A ruler and his sons with attendants on a boat, Kashmir, North India, circa 1850, opaque pigments on paper, the boat with single sail and with one oarsman steering the boat to the back, a further four to the front, the royal party seated two with swords on their laps, on the banks of the river an encampment with women entertaining a ruler, 19 x 14.5 cm.
