A sandstone Bayon style head of Buddha, Khmer, possibly Angkor Period or later, the face with serene expression, downcast eyes under continuous arched eyebrows, with elongated earlobes, the forehead with the 'third eye' and, the mouth with moustache, the hair worked in tight curls rising to the ushnish, overall the head approximately 35cm high x 21cm wide x 21 cm deep, on standProvenance: Purchased by the current owner form an antique shop in Thailand circa 1990's.
