A sapphire and diamond brooch. The cushion-shape sapphire collet, with old-cut diamond collet quatrefoil surround and spacers, to the pave-set diamond chevron sides. Estimated dimensions of sapphire 6.5 by 6.5 by 3.5mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.75 to 2cts, principal diamonds estimated H-I and tinted colour, P1-P2 clarity. Length 3cms. Weight 4gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some diamonds draw a noticeable yellow hue. Chevron sides comprised of old and rose-cut diamonds. Diamonds bright.

Principal diamonds with moderate to profuse light and dark inclusions, some surface reaching. Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Non-principal diamonds with small to moderate inclusions under 10x magnification. Sapphire is a deep, medium slightly greenish blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity, typical inclusions and moderate colour zoning.

Sapphire in good condition with minor abrasions.
