A scagliola columnar pedestal simulating verde antico, 19th century, of cylindrical form and on a stepped and moulded circular base, 115cm high; and another, similar, with painted plaster socle, 109cm high
Condition Report:
The example fully made of scagliola has chips to the upper edge, some abrasions and scratching to the column itself, and chips and losses to the bottom moulding including a circa 10cm loss to the base. The plaster base example has losses and chips to the upper edge, some discolouration to plaster base including darker marks, and possible restoration to the column. One or two chips to column base.
