A seed pearl and diamond necklace. Of openwork design, the vari-cut diamond scrolling drop, with seed pearl surround and bar spacer, suspended from an old-cut diamond and seed pearl cluster surmount and trace-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Length of pendant 4.8cms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 7gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to good. Drop currently detaches from the bar spacer, attention required. Slight scuff marks visible to the reverse of the surmount. Diamonds bright and fairly well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Rose-cut diamonds with some rough facets and chips. Remaining diamonds with minor to moderate, varied inclusions. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Seed pearls fairly well matched with a pearly white body colour. Fair to strong lustre. Diameter approximately 2.5 to 1.9mms. Stamped 750 to spring ring clasp.
