A selection of Scottish provincial silver spoons and ladles, with various maker's marks for John Heron, Greenock, to include a Fiddle Shell pattern sauce ladle and a teaspoon with hallmarks for Edinburgh 1822, a plain Fiddle pattern toddy ladle and a King's pattern teaspoon with hallmarks for Glasgow 1836, three further teaspoons and a mustard spoon with thistle and Duty marks, dated 1811, 1812, 1814 and 1815, etc. Weight 6.44 ozt (200.4 grams). (9).

Condition Report:
- All pieces displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and general use.
- A few surface dints and bumps.
- Some appear in a fairly worn state and the metal of some of the teaspoons feels quite thin.
- Heavier wear to some of the bowls, especially of the teaspoons.
- The bowl of the 1812 teaspoon in particular is in poor condition with several bumps, dints and creases to the surface.
- Mustard spoon with residues of gilding.
- Hallmarks and maker's marks rubbed to some parts but mostly clear and legible.
- The ladle with a pierced bowl struck with one mark only to reverse of stem. Fairly indistinct but possibly Heron in script.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
