A set of 18th century Scottish provincial teaspoons, each with a slender Hourglass shape terminal with engraved initials verse. Bottom struck with a single maker's mark, possibly 'IB' for John Baillie, Inverness (circa 1740-53). Weight 2.02 ozt (62.8 grams). Dimensions: Condition Report: All spoons displaying surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing. Some minor edge nicks. All the bowls in fairly worn state around the tips, which appear ground down.Some flattening and loss of definition to heel drops. Engraved initials also quite rubbed. The maker's marks are worn and a little distorted.
