An unusual set consisting of six cups and nine matching saucers. Depicting a scene from the Romance of the western chamber. Not marked.
Saucers: D 14 cm, Cups: D 9 cm, H 4.5 cm
Rim fritting and glaze chips on edges. One cup with rim chips and a bruise and two hairlines with associated chips, a second cup with a hairline and associated chip and a third cup with a small hairline and associated chip and another small hairline. Three cups with no hairlines. Two saucers with a hairline (one also with glaze pops, this saucer was slightly misfired), seven saucers with no hairline.
