A set of early 19th century Dutch 20 carat gold book clasps Amsterdam 1819 by JVA (untraced)
In the Empire style, comprising two large clasps with end attachments and one smaller clasp with end attachment. Formed as columns, of overall rectangular form with reeded decoration applied rosettes and anthemion borders. Marked to throughout with second standard mark (833/1000), date letter, guarantee mark and makers mark. (6)
